Consecration of the New Bishop in Jerusalem

Dean Hosam serving alongside Archbishop Suheil Dawani in St George's CathedralDean Hosam Naoum was recently elected Bishop Co-adjutor for the Diocese of Jerusalem as Archbishop Suheil Dawani prepares for his retirement. His consecration as Bishop will be held on Sunday June 14th, 2020 at St George's Cathedral in Jerusalem.

Archbishop Suheil has written to JMECA to request that we run this appeal to celebrate Dean Hosam's consecration as is customary on such an occasion. Donations are sought in support of his forthcoming ministry as Bishop in Jerusalem. All funds raised will be passed in full to The Diocese of Jerusalem to be used in support of the ministries within the diocese.

 

How you can make a donation

Online: Donations can be made via Paypal, please specify in the comments that your donation is for the "Jerusalem Consecration Appeal" and whether you are eligible for Gift Aid.

Bank transfer: Direct to the JMECA account with Coutts bank, sort code 18-00-02, account number 03283534 , please specify in the details that your donation is for the "Jerusalem Consecration" and let us know by email if you are eligible for Gift Aid (download form below)
