The Reverend talked about challenges facing those who today would interpret the word of God in the public domain.

The packed congregation was also attended by the Commander of British Forces on the Island, Major General James Illingworth and the British High Commissioner, Mr Matthew Kidd, as well as by clergy with a link to Forces Chaplaincy on the Island, and their families.

Bishop Michael described the event as “a great occasion,” and a wonderful opportunity to showcase one of the Diocese’s most beautiful churches, after recent upgrading work there.
